I just learned about Koolicles: pure awesomeness.

Here’s what you will need:

  • 1 jar of dill pickles.
  • 1 or 2 packages of your favorite Kool-Aid flavor (tropical punch is a good place to start).
  • About 3 cups of sugar.
  • About 2 quarts of water.

Here’s how you make ‘em:

  • Take the pickles out of the jar and mark the level of brine left in the jar.
  • Pour the brine into a pitcher and set it aside (or just pour it down the drain).
  • Slice the pickles length ways.
  • Mix the Kool-Aid and sugar with enough water to meet the level you marked earlier.
  • Place the pickles back in the jar and shake.
  • Let sit in the refrigerator for a week.
  • Enjoy!
