roadfarming:

Britt and Meredith dropped Jessie and I off at Bob and Eva’s farm called ‘Green Haven’ for our first week long farming experience in Canada. After extensive worrying about the people we would be staying with, the food, the accomodations, and the work we were very happily surprised. Green Haven was everything my romanticized view of farming was. The place was beautiful, the food was plentiful and delicious, we were separated in our own barn (the one pictured) which had its own kitchen, entertainment room, and upstairs porch looking out to the mountains. Our work on the first day consisted of planting potatoes and corn and a little bit of weeding. Really, really, nice place. 64 acres, completely organic, 7 goats, 2 dogs, 4 turkeys, chickens, silkies, and owls. -bill

I really enjoy following Bill’s blog about farming.
