My friend Drew, who is working as a EFL teacher in South Korea, is quite a writer. His epic rants about life as a waygook in Korea appear at his blog, Gnawbert.com.
I found out about Wordle.net, which makes cool word clouds, and got to thinking about what kind of words would come up if I imported all Drew’s posts. Luckily I didn’t have to do it manually; Wordle can grab an RSS feed. But on the first try it came out perfect. Here’s what happened:

I especially enjoy how much you can tell about Drew’s love for the intricate analogy showcased by the word “like.” But even better is reading the random juxtapositions of words, such as, “eat” and “dog,” “bottle” “drank” “wife,” “silly” and “Marissa,” or, my favorite string of words: “country” “need” “us” “meat.”
