My laptop computer has a 2.4GHz dual-core processor in it. It is capable of computing 50-kajillion things every second of every day for years and years, but until everything can access everything else, it’s not as useful as it could be. Right now, hardware isn’t the bottleneck in getting things done with computers. It’s less-than-great software that doesn’t play nice with others.
Smart guy Scott Jackson says that all software should follow the Linux philosophy. It’s true.
